Closed Sales have remained steady when compared to the previous year. Homebuyers are moving forward on home listings that are priced well and in move-in condition. Home sale preparation is becoming more important as consumers have less free time and less desire to tackle repairs and updates. Homes in good condition and reasonably priced are flying off the MLSs in most areas of the state.
But the downside is inventory has been a significant problem for the past 36 months. It’s hard to believe that in July 2015 we had 33,767 homes on the market. At the end of July 2017, there were 24,631 available for sale.
